Whenever I bathe in Yamuna, my skin itches.
जब भी मैं यमुना में नहाता हूं, तब मेरी त्वचा में खुजली होती है।
Whenever I quickly go out from an air-conditioned room, I get heatstroke.
जब भी मैं एक वातानुकूलित कमरे से बाहर निकलता हूं, तब मुझे हीटस्ट्रोक होता है।
Whenever I ride on public transport, it’s like an oven.
जब भी मैं सार्वजनिक परिवहन का उपयोग करता हूं, तो मुझे ऐसा लगता है जैसे मैं किसी तंदूर।
Whenever I sit down to eat, I can taste dust.
जब मैं खाना खाने बैठती हूं, मुझे खाने में धूल का स्वाद महसूस होता है।
Whenever I wake up, the first thing I hear is: Let’s dust the house!
जब भी मैं सुबह उठता हूं , पहली बात मैं ये सुनता हूं कि चलो धूल को साफ़ करें।
Whenever I clean my house, I feel like I am choking on the dust.
जब भी मैं अपने घर को साफ़ करती हूं, तब मुझे धूल के कारण महसूस होती है।

The statements displayed on rickshaw’s carts were derived from the collective writing project Pollution Diaries, which is a platform for sharing everyday life experience from Delhi, one of the most polluted world’s cities. #Pollution_Diaries
